LIVE weather news: According to the IMD, there will be heatwaves or extremely hot weather in several areas of North India for the foreseeable future. These conditions will progressively lessen as a disturbance from the northwest approaches. Due to the possibility of thunderstorms in isolated areas, the IMD has issued an orange advisory for Delhi.
Delhi is experiencing a water crisis as a result of the Delhi Jal Board providing the New Delhi Municipal Corporation with less water than usual. The Haryana government is allegedly not releasing water to ease the situation, according to the AAP government.
Heatwave conditions are most common in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh, and Uttar Pradesh, according to the IMD. There are also heatwave conditions in some areas of Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, and Himachal Pradesh.
