Voting for the Delhi University Student Union (DUSU) elections 2026 will take place today, September 18th. The counting of votes will take place on September 19th. Only eligible DU students will be able to vote. A DU ID card will be required for voting.

To ensure security during this election, police will be deployed outside colleges and departments. Patrols at sensitive locations and the deployment of female police officers in women's colleges have also been arranged.

This year, the DUSU elections are being fought with innovative and creative prompts. Candidates have used short videos, memes, and reels as their weapons to reach out to the youth.
